8x3 Iteration: Blizzard Book

After a summer-long collaboration with Creative Grounds' 8x3: Art + Architecture Summer activations, I decided to produce an iteration of the analog closed school tracking system I had been working on - a book.

This book was made as part of the Artist Books course offered by Myungah Hyon, in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, that I took in Fall 2018.

I used the binding method of a blizzard-book, with folios that are detachable and can be rearranged in any order, and, like the Tracking Room, focuses on the 14 schools closed in the South Side. Its cover shows a map, locating each school within their community areas in Chicago.

This book was bound in December 2018, and the information was last updated September 13, 2018.
