Garden Workshop: Soil 101 (September)

On Saturday, September 7th, we hosted the second workshop in our new gardening series.

Beginner and experienced growers joined us for another informative session with urban farmer Lucía León. Attendees examined and compared different kinds of soils and compost while picking up tips on how soil maintenance can support healthy crops.

As usual, the workshop also gave us a chance to check in on the Overton Garden. Thanks to our volunteers, it's looking happy, colorful, and full of life.
